In 1904, two businessmen created Rolls-Royce. During lunch, Henry Royce, a successful engineer, and Charles Rolls, an outomobile salesman, decided to became partners. Royce was a perfectionist and insisted that their cars be the best in the world. Rolls agreed and Rolls-Royce was born.

2.- 2000s DECADE

The first decade of twenty one century was a decade which people remember for many reasons. There were good and bad times and happy and bad events and moments. Some of the good events are that in America there was the first African-American president, Barrack Obama. Another good thing is that the Iraq and Afghanistan war stopped. But in this decade there were also a lot of bad events and news, for example on the twenty first of September in 2001 there was a terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre. Some of the other bad events were that in Haiti was a big earthquake and, in Chile too. On the both places there were a lot of deaths. But not all the things are bad, for example, this decade the Mobill phones had a very good progress and now, we have excellent cells.

By the end of the decade, the world was a different place and the technology was really better, for that, the best film of this decade was Avatar, a science fiction film that cost 2.273.395.000 dollars. 

1.- MY LAST SUMMER

Hello, my name is Bernat and I'm going to talk about my last summer holidays. First belgium friends came for two weeks to my home. After, in August, I met every day with my friends on the “pasquera” and we fish, too. After that I went some days to Platja d'Aro with my cousin Simon and his friend Aleix Banal.

First of all I stayed home because my leg was broken and, at the end of July some Belgium friends came two weeks. Before they went, I didn't know who they were, but some days after they arrived, Niels, a boy one year older than me, and I became friends because he likes fishing like me. One night, we went to la “pasquera” a little fishing house on the lake, and we fished three carps. The biggest one was 8 kg.

Second I stayed in Banyoles. It was a little bit possitive month for me bacuse I started to walk again, for that reason, I started to met my friends. My cousin Simon stayed all July and Agoust in Santa Susana working, for that I had the “pasquera” again and my friends and I went some days. We went with my little boat to the lake. It was really fun because nobody has a boat, and we could swim where we want.

Finally I went some days in Platja d'Aro with my cousin Simon and Alex Banal. For us it was our holidays. We went every day to de beach and some days we went out with Pau Guilana too.

Each day the pigs dive into a pond. people come to see the pigs dive and the farmer says the animals are healthier because of the aquatic exercise. The farmer is happy. But are the pigs happy? TV HIGHLIGHTS

The highlight of this week's TV was definitley the sitcome Castle. The two main characters, Kate Beckhet and Rich Castle, spent 45 minutes in the police office and after ten minutes they went to investigat another crime.
Channel 7's drama series NCIS: Los Angeles was also worth watching. In Wendesday's episode, the team were investigating the murder of Elisabeth of second. In the end they discovered that the killer was her sister, because she isn't the queen and now, yes.
Finally something wich also caught my eye was a story on yesterday's news. A man was walking about the ecosystem and the renewable energy's. That's very important for the earth live.

GIVE AN OPINION

I agree that internet is an addiction because people spend a lot time in the internet searching information or in the chats rooms. 
Firstly the people spend to much time online. Some people are all the time online and forget to do things as simple as eating. 
In addition people get fat because they don't do any physical activities. This affects the polution because every time there is more people with overweight. 
Finally a lot of teenagers need to be online all the time with the computers or the smart phones. some teenagers are all day chatting with his compurters or smart phone.
In conclusion people should try not to be so many hours online.

Beyoncé is having a busy year! She sang at President Obama's inauguration ceremony and at the SuperBowl halftime show. Now she has made a documentary film about her life as a mother, businesswoman and superstar. Beyoncé will also play concerts in Paris and London this month, and has said that a new album will be finished very soon!

Adelainde River: a paradise for crocodiles

In Australia, some crocodiles can jump: they're called "jumping crocodiles". We went on a boat trip on Adelaide River to see these crocodiles. A woman put pieces of meat on the water and an enormous crocodile jumped out of the water to eat it. Incredible. We won't forget taht day!

Fish for dinner?

Yes, that is a real fish. It's a Nile Perch, which is one of the largest freshwater fish. They can masure up to 2m long! People go to Lake Victoria in Africa to catch them.This men must be happy with their fish... they have caught a giant!

FERNANDO ALONSO

Fernando Alonso was born in Spain in 1981.He's been involved in cars recers sinse hewas 4 years old, when he won the first race. At the age of eight, he won an Asturies competition, and later he won a Spanish competition.          His big breack came in 2001, when Alonso signed a contract with Renault. In the year that followed, he won some racers, and after thath, he won his fist world chamion trophy in Formula 1. He was the most poplular man of all time, because he was the youngest man to win the world champion trophy. Since than, Also has had another fantastic year and won again the world champion trophy with Renoult, too. After that, Alonso brocke up and he went to Ferrari. Actually, he didn't win again the world champion trophy, but next year he wants to try it again.

IS INTERNET ADICTION REALLY A PROBLEM?

In my opinion ' agree with Hey Gazza because internet adictions are a big problem.

Firstly i think that when you stay all the day and some nights with your laptop on the internet on chat rooms or playing online games finally they are more boring than the real life and you are always disconnected from the real life, real people and real games.

Moreover you only stay inside your room all the day and you can't meet with new real people or have dinner of lunch with your parents, you lose all the relations with other people.

Finally you can fail at school and fail more or all the exams because instead of studying you are playing with your laptop or you are chatting on the chat rooms. After some days you can lose your concentration anc need professional attention to get out of the problem.

See in all, I absolutly agree with Hey Gazza and I also think that the people who are affected need help and professional attention to get out of this problem.
